Every product you buy from CodeAj Startups is sold under a licence, not as a transfer of our intellectual property. This page explains the two licence tiers we offer, what white-labeling rights you get, and what you are not allowed to do with the source code.
Single-Use Licence
The default licence included with every purchase. Covers one deployment, for one business/brand (yours or a single client's).
- Deploy and run the product for one business/brand.
- White-label it: rebrand the UI, logo, and name as your own.
- Modify the source code for that one deployment.
- Not transferable to a second, unrelated business without a new licence.
Agency Licence
For agencies and freelancers who want to deploy the same base product for multiple end-clients under white-label branding.
- Deploy a separately-branded instance per end-client.
- White-label each instance under each end-client's own brand.
- Charge your end-clients for the deployed product/service you build on top of it.
- Pricing and exact per-client terms: contact us - quoted case by case.
What You Can Do
- Use the product to run your own business, or a client's business (under the tier you purchased).
- Rebrand the product entirely - your logo, your name, your domain. There is no "powered by CodeAj" requirement.
- Modify, extend, and customize the source code for your own deployment(s).
- Purchase our deployment, customization, or maintenance services to have us do the above work for you.
What You Cannot Do
- Resell the raw source code. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the unmodified (or lightly modified) source code itself as a product to third parties - for example, listing it on another marketplace or selling "the codebase" to someone else. The licence covers running the software, not reselling the code that powers it.
- Claim the underlying software was originally built by you, your agency, or a third party.
- Use a single-use licence across multiple, unrelated client deployments - that requires an agency licence.
- Remove or misrepresent ownership of the underlying intellectual property in any dispute.
Support & Updates
The base licence does not include an open-ended support subscription. Post-launch support windows (where mentioned on a product page) and ongoing maintenance are covered separately - see our Maintenance service.
